We had an absolutely wonderful time at a homestay in Sidemen. the family was very friendly and welcoming, and they went out of their way to help us with anything we needed. We enjoyed sunrise tours, hiking in the rice fields, and delicious food. the homestay only has two rooms, which made it easy to get to know the family. We had some great conversations and felt like part of the family. It was definitely one of the highlights of our trip to Indonesia.
We can't wait to come back one day. Cons: Nothing that we didn't like.

I had an exceptional experience at this hidden gem in beautiful Sidemen! The owner, Jack, went above and beyond to make my stay memorable. The room was beautifully decorated and clean, with stylish touches throughout. The outdoor shower was a highlight, and the Balinese breakfast was sensational. Jack's family and staff were attentive and made me feel welcome. Despite the rooster noise, which Jack apologized for, I quickly got used to it. I highly recommend staying at Kanda Homestay and I will definitely be back. I had a fantastic time and would recommend this homestay.

The value for the money at this homestay was exceptional, with a beautiful room and welcoming staff who made me feel at home. The location was perfect, close to everything in the village and surrounded by stunning rice terraces.
The breakfast selection could have been improved with more variety of choices.

The guest house is located in a beautiful setting, surrounded by nature and with an open roof that allows you to enjoy the fresh air without worrying about insects. the rooms are comfortable, with mosquito nets provided for a good night's sleep. the hosts are very welcoming and offer a delicious Balinese breakfast, along with fresh fruit and coffee. the location is convenient, with shops and restaurants nearby. One guest even mentioned that the host offers guided tours to explore the area and learn about the Balinese lifestyle.
Finding the guest house may be a bit challenging for first-time visitors.
